Café Matilisguate

“Rich land, warm and tropical weather, ideal for agriculture, this is Santa Rosa, the place that gives birth to our Guatemalan coffee. In this country known by its great diversity of and quality of its coffee you can find a Coffee Farm located in Barberena, where Café El Matilisguate is born.
Since 1935, coffee has been harvested under the shadow of different species of trees that create a special microclimate. Plantation is done without any pesticides or herbicides and, for more than 10 years, any kind of fertilizer is poured in the soil of this coffee.
Body, fine acidity, succulent aroma and great quality are the properties these beans offer to give you great delight. From the moment you grind it and/or put them in the coffee machine until the unique feeling of the first sip. You can taste honey, citric and chocolate pinches comparable to the vivid colors of the flower of the Matilisguate tree.
